The Hospitality Ministry is one of the most visible and most vital ministries at Emmaus. This team is responsible for the setup and teardown of the Sunday morning welcome experience — from the coffee and donuts to the parking signage — and for greeting every single person who arrives with genuine warmth and care. Whether someone is walking in for the first time or has been coming for years, the Hospitality team makes sure they feel noticed, welcomed, and at home. It's a behind-the-scenes ministry with a front-and-center impact on the culture of our church.
WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT?
Hospitality volunteers serve on a rotating Sunday morning schedule, arriving before the service for setup and staying briefly after for teardown. Roles include greeting at the door, managing the coffee and donut station, and assisting with parking. It's a practical, relational role that makes a real difference every single week.
