WHY WE GIVE
GIVING IS WORSHIP
Throughout the scriptures, God's people are instructed to give of their finances to the Lord (Deut 15:10; Ex 25:2; Mal 3:8-10; Lk 21:1-4). We are also reminded on several occasions that all that we have has been given to us by God (Jn 3:27), so when we give, we are giving back a portion of what He has already graciously given to us. We do this as an act of obedience and worship to Him.
GIVING FURTHERS THE GOSPEL
Our giving to the Church is for a very specific purpose, the building up of the Kingdom of God. We want to see the ministries of Emmaus church continue to operate so that the message of the gospel is proclaimed, both within our walls and beyond our walls, to the various minisitries we are involved with in the community.
GIVING HELPS GROWTH
For over a decade, Emmaus has faithfully worshipped in borrowed and rented spaces. Your contribution to the Build Emmaus campaign brings us closer to a permanent home — a place where this church can plant roots, serve the community, and worship together for generations to come.
